I was the only Japanese among the panelists at the international conference held in London in 2004 hosted by AARP. In 2006 I was invited to serve as Chairman of a session at the World Ageing & Demographic Congress in Switzerland, and in 2008 I was invited as Keynote Speaker at Silver Industry Conference & Exhibition 2008 organized by the Singapore Government. As a Japanese expert, I have been speaking about ageing issues all around the world.
